Original Poem: His Park

Five years later and I still visit Josh - it is part of my regular Saturday routine.  His park is a safe place and this poem expresses why.

His Park
By Sue Anderson

His park
   quiet and still
   full of ears
   listening attentively
   without judgement to my
   sighs, groans, sobs,
   whispers, cries and questions.

Understanding
welcoming
compassionate mob

Frozen as infants,
   toddlers.
   teens,
   adults and
   seniors

From all walks of life
   all nationalities
   all shapes and sizes

Keeping my son company.
