I moved to Michigan a few years ago, and just thought you should know Josh's spirit has reached all the way up here. A couple of my friends here and I spread the blackout to my school, all i had to do was tell my friends what happened and they were inspired to support any way they could.

I hope everyone is hanging in there okay, You're in my thoughts & prayers.

I am going to a meeting tomorrow at my son's school on how to enforce policies regarding drugs. I sure have a lot to say now!

Going to Langley reminded me of what it was like to be a Junior there--the congregation in the middle of the parking lot after school and before practice, how the girls "be-jeweled" their black shirts as I'm sure my friends and I would have done, etc. Thank you Langley students for all your support. Please continue to keep in touch with my parents--we all love to hear the funny stories as Josh as a class clown, ladies man and the one who brightened everyone's day.

To the Andersons and to all of Josh's friends I am truly sorry for your loss. I didn't know Josh very well, we attended the same church, and Lauren was my JC at camp one year. From what I remember of Josh he was a really nice guy, I am again so sorry for your loss.
This poem helped me with the loss of one of my close friends I hope it may be of some comfort to you.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow;
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain;
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there; I did not die.
